I’m having an issue with my semi-tethered jailbroken iPhone 5 using h3lix.
A couple of years ago, I set up a dual boot with CoolBooter and allocated 4GB for an iOS 6 partition. My phone is the 16GB model, so everything was fine back then. About a year ago, I got bored of iOS 6 and tried to remove it, but I think I did it the wrong way. Since then, my phone only shows around 12GB of storage, the missing 4GB never came back. I tried reinstalling CoolBooter to remove the partition properly, but it only gives me the option to “Install” instead of “Uninstall.” I also tried a factory reset, but that didn’t fix the storage issue.
Is there any way to recover that missing 4GB, or did I mess it up permanently?
Also, is there a way to downgrade my iPhone 5 without dualbooting and legacy ios? I don’t have a macos device and I don’t intend to switch to linux.
Thank you!
