Is it bad? Different sized tiles at the ends of a single wall.

My sister is having her bathroom done.

The tiles on the ends of a single wall have been cut in different proportions. One end is roughly double the size of the other.

Do you think it looks bad and is not good wormanship or is this normal?

Will update with better pictures when I get the chance. These are the only ones I have atm.

Water damaged steps. How to fix?

Hey guys,

So my sister and brother in law recently purchased a house.

The stairs seem to be badly water damaged. And the smell is really really bad.

We have received some crazy quotes to get the stairs fixed / covered (4k+).

I was wondering whether these water damaged steps are salvageable, and what the process would be.

Is there a product to toughen up the fibres, then seal it with something like zinsser bin then proceed to cover with oak tread and risers? Or is the suggestion to get these removed somehow?

Thanks a lot!
