I'm not here to tell you it gets better overnight. It doesn't.

When I found out, I couldn't eat. Couldn't sleep. I kept replaying everything in my head — every lie, every moment I missed, every time I trusted them. I felt stupid, broken, and completely alone.

But I made it through. And these are the things that actually helped:

1. Stop trying to understand WHY they did it You will drive yourself insane looking for a reason that makes sense. The truth is — it was never about you. Cheating is a character issue, not a you issue.

2. Feel the grief — don't skip it I tried to stay strong. Big mistake. The pain doesn't go away when you ignore it. It goes underground and comes back worse. Cry. Scream. Write it down. Feel it.

3. The comparison trap will destroy you Stop looking at who they cheated with. You will never win that game. It has nothing to do with your worth.

4. Your anger is valid — use it Anger is not weakness. It's your self-respect fighting back. Channel it into rebuilding yourself, not destroying them.

5. You have to decide — from power, not fear Stay or leave — but make that decision from clarity, not from the fear of being alone.
