I bought this ‘06 1500 single cab short bed with only 87k for 500 bucks. The only issue it has is that it’s a V6. Just curious to what yall recommend I swap to. I was thinking a LQ9 with LS3 heads but this is my first build for power but I know I won’t be able to handle big boy power yet. I asked a few buddies and they said L33 or flex fuel 5.3. What do you all recommend? What mods should I do to make it to 400 hp reliably or even 500 on a budget?
