Let me just caveat this with me saying I absolutely love the show, was told about it by a Sunday league team mate cos they referenced my team East Dulwich Sporting Crabs a few times. I never got into it but one night struggling with jet lag I smashed about six episodes in one night. It's became a lovely comfort for me and even during tough times mentally, having that constant podcast to come to few times a week was weirdly therapeutic. So if the boys see this please know I'm a huge fan and appreciate the show.

But I do feel I need to ask the community...am I the only one who just skips the quiz episodes? I can't be the only one. But for a spell they became more frequent and I was thinking wait is this what the fans are asking for? I just don't think it really works as a podcast, quizzes are really fun for the people doing them but as a spectator sport it just feels a bit empty. There are a few quiz shows I love on TV but I just don't find the format of the Cliches ones very inclusive to the listener, maybe it's cos I'm alone in bed listening and not with friends and pausing it to play along? I dunno. But does anyone else just not connect with them and skip them?

I get a similar feeling when the lads play Happy Hunting Grounds - it's quite a hard game to play even at the best of times never mind listening to other people play it. Those segments just feel a bit self indulgent, like it's more fun for them than me as the listener but hey...maybe I'm wrong and this is what I was trying to gauge, am I just being a dick, I almost feel guilty considering I love the show so much.

Apart from the quizzes, I'd no skip a single second...I even listened to the Kier Starmer episode in full and that was a difficult one.

(might get some stick for this and that's fine, but I'm not trying to be negative just had to ask cos I don't have many/any mates who listen to the show to discuss this).
