Can’t seem to get my Rx correct. Advice?

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was I. kindergarten. I’m 34 now and basically from kindergarten until 2022 I’ve never had an issue with my rx or feeling line it wasn’t right. it’s always been fine the first time around. I got an eye exam in 2022 because it had been a few years since I had one and I needed new glasses because the old ones were wearing out. I got the exam and new glasses and felt like my rx wasn’t quite right. We were still under covid restrictions so the office only had telehealth doctors available and no physical doctors.

I thought maybe something got lost in translation and went back 2 more times for a recheck and had my glasses adjusted each time since they had a 100 day satisfaction guarantee . even after the 2nd recheck I still felt like it wasn’t right. i didnt want to keep going back to the same place if they weren’t going to get my rx correct. it wasn’t too bad and i could still see even if it felt off so i decided to live with it for another year until my insurance would cover another exa. well I never did go back after a year and didn’t get another exam until last year at a different place. I brought my glasses that I wore from 2018 to 2022 and asked them to go off of those glasses instead of the ones I was wearing because the rx wasn’t right in the ones I had on.

i thknk they said they’d look at the ones I was wearing since it was my current rx. well after I got a new pair of glasses again things still didn’t seem right. went back for a recheck and asked them again to look at the 2018 glasses. they did and I guess took both the rx from 2018 and 2022 into consideration when doing the recheck and my rx only came out to like .25 difference in each eye which obviously wasn’t a lot. anyway the glasses I got last year ended up being too small for my face so I stopped wearing them. went back again for another exam this year and got yet again a new pair of glasses with a new rx and things still don’t feel right. they feel worse than the rx in the glasses I wore from 2022 until now.

I obviously want to go back for another recheck but I want to make sure I get a prescription that I feel good about and feels right and I don’t know how to proceed at this point. I want to ask them if they will just start with my rx from 2018 and go from there and disregard every other prescription I’ve had since but I don’t know if that’s the best route. or just ask them to start over entirely and treat me as if I’d never had an eye exam at all or just didn’t know what my prescription was. I obviously don’t want to keep wasting money if my rx doesn’t feel right. I just don’t understand why this is so difficult. I’d never had a problem for like 25 years and then I feel like the place I went to in 2022 just messed everything up. advice?

I’ve been wearing my son basically in a stretchy wrap since he was born. he’s 10 weeks now and 13 pounds and I think he’s getting a little big for the stretchy wrap and wanted to move on to a structured carrier but as I’ve seen from reading in this thread there aren’t many that fit younger babies. I bought a used Tula Free To Grow off of eBay and I guess I didn’t look hard enough and it must be an older model because the seat width is not adjustable and it’s too wide for my son. Since it’s used I can’t return it. I can probably resell it myself but a lot of the carriers I see mentioned for smaller babies are really out of my budget. The Tula FTG is like 180 dollars brand new which is way too much for me. I have some other structured carriers, one is a cheaper brand I bought off Amazon and one my MIL gave me that she bought when my niece was a baby and she never used but little man is still too small for them. So I’m wondering if I should get a woven wrap for now until our little dude is big enough to fit one of the other carriers we have and maybe I will try to resell the Tula. Does anyone have any suggestions for a carrier that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either a structured one or a woven wrap?? Im a little sad because I was excited to use the Tula but the width isn’t adjustable and it looks like he may even be too small still height wise because the straps are adjusted all the way and it’s too high over his head I think.
