Four Corners book swap & convo about library access
Hello, everyone! My name’s Jess. I’m new to the area and wanted to try hosting a small community book swap to meet some fellow Four Corners neighbors and learn more about our community :)
Naturally, one of the first things I did after moving in was apply for a library card, and I was surprised to learn that residents of Four Corners aren’t eligible for free full access to the Salem Public Library since we’re technically unincorporated. I’m curious about other folks’ experiences with this and whether there’s any community interest in organizing to expanding access in the future.
No pressure or agenda really, I’m mostly just hoping to meet neighbors and swap some good reads. Bring a book if you’d like, or just come say hi!
