I am kinda new crocheter, i can make pieces looking on pattern but i cant do something from by looking a photo, i need a writing pattern for this and i dont have any money for a paid pattern, is there any way to find anything free similar to this leg warmer?

I am sort of new to crochet and other tecniques, now i wanna learn this filet crochet . I tried a simple lucky leaf shape for beginning but it dosent look visible to compare others, is it because of my stitches or is it bcz of my yarn , i really dont understand whats the problem :(
