Checking in this Tuesday (May 19) for a 6-night stay at the InterContinental London Park Lane.

I originally booked a King Classic on a cash rate (no breakfast). My IHG app just updated today showing an auto-upgrade to a King Premium, which fulfills the technical 1-category Ambassador guarantee.

Since I'm a Platinum Elite (via Ambassador), what are my realistic chances of scoring a further upgrade at the desk to a Club room or Suite, or does Park Lane play strictly by the book? Any tips for check-in? Thanks!
