Hello everyone.

I received an SMS stating that an amount of INR 219 will be reversed in the next billing cycle due to excess cashback credited in Dec 2025 on my Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card. However, this credit card account has already been permanently closed, and the same is also updated as closed in my latest credit report.

Anyone else had similar experience? If yes, how did you resolve it?

I don't want this to affect my credit history and score.

I have already raised this with Axis. I will update here as I hear more from them.

Edit1 - I also have Axis rewards credit card. Till in the morning, Axis android app/website were showing only this rewards card. I just checked now, both rewards and Airtel Axis cards are showing now.
