Why is this in a random slop it's always sunny short lol
I'm serious, has anyone ever started a fresh account unconnected to anything, and gotten banned for literally no reason? I think it'd be pretty damning evidence if someone started an account, never used it, and then it just got suspended for nothing, since the ai hallucinated.
I'm not sure if posting here is the best thing to do for this, because I am well aware that someone may respond in the comments "Yeah you're cooked" without thinking too hard on it, but I posted a while ago when my account was suddenly given a 24 hour limit for something incredibly stupid. As I mentioned in the past post, Discord's bot misunderstood the context and tone of a comment I made when I was making fun of someone's bigtory, and I got hit with the 24 hour limit for "hate speech." Unless my real life best friend reported me, knowingly putting themself at risk for also being banned for the NUMEROUS slurs they used to send people back in the late 2010s, then Discord's bot has been scanning DMs for god knows how long.
Not long after this, after I had to reset my pc because I somehow got a virus I couldn't get rid of (genuinely don't understand how cause I am an extremely cautious person, unless it was a false flag) I logged back into Discord on the same pc using the same wifi, and after about a week I was forcibly logged out from Discord on both my pc and my phone. I had to reset my password, and for some reason, they limited my ability to send messages or make calls AGAIN for a few hours. My only theories are that someone was trying to brute force hack into my account for some reason (genuinely don't think my account is very appetising to hackers) or which I think is more likely, Discord just decided that after I logged in on a "new device" and after some VPN usage (I live in the UK) I was "suspicious."
Ten days ago I was also informed by my best friend, when visiting them, that they had seen a message on my profile saying "This user may be suspicious."
Presumably, my account is now under the watchful eye of "Clyde" or whatever it's called.
I have repeatedly made efforts to give out my contacts to my friends but not everyone seems willing to be readily available for my to communicate with via other means than Discord.
What makes it all even better is that I have left almost all public discord servers and I'm not even in any activate small community private servers. I am in a TF2 Blender animation discord and I don't even really look in it any more.
I honestly have no clue why all of this is happening. The first instance of my account being limited I can MAYBE understand because I was making a joke that was easy to misconstrue, it was still wrong, but that makes SOME sense. This stuff after it? Mind boggling. Do I have to worry about being banned out of the blue?
