Chronic migraines are back :( tips?
I've *24f had migraines since elementary school. Was diagnosed not really put on any meds until I was closer to 15-16 tried and failed a couple until I was put on emgality around 21/22 only had like 1 minor migraine the whole time I was on it. I moved states etc so took a while to get insurance again and due to feeling better I procrastinated. I have been off of the medication for quite a bit now. I will have to wait like 6ish months for my new pt pcp appointment so I can get referred to a neurologist. I get a migraine with aura like once a week and feel like shit/smaller headaches in-between.
Does anyone have any tips for coping?? Also tips for seeing docters/ advocating for myself? Things I should have the docters look into? Or thing that have been helpful for you personally?
