Be aware: focusrecruitment.co.uk is a scam.
Got an email on my job email, for positions. Which is strange by default.
I did not send the CV (as ask in the email). Called the phone number. After ringing 6 times a voice told me: call disconnected.
About 2h later I got a call back, so I said: James (the name in the email). Somebody very confused answered with a pronounced South Asian accent: no, and mumbled something.
After 3 min of conversing was clear the guy had very little to do with recruitment, he was trying to extract info about me. I told him is not looking good and is very suspicious at which point he abruptly hang up.
I went to study the website, is a smoke screen, no linkedin, about picture are stock images, the jobs are repetitive and the filtering on the website is not working. Clearly I did almost fell for the scam.
Looks like is a new scam to extract info from people.
