Hello.

My father (retired) currently drives a diesel Range Rover Velar and it’s costing him a fortune in terms of repairs (apparently a known issue with these cars!) and of course fuel costs.

I have access to Octopus via Salary Sacrifice through work, or via a personal lease, and I’d like to get a Jaecoo EV for him to drive.

For Octopus/SalSac they would require me to have a driving licence which I do not have.

Does anyone know if personal leasing would also need the same? Or is it possible for him to be the named driver and me to just pay the finance?
