Steering wheel vibrations when braking lightly - do I need to replace my brake rotors?

I have a 24’ MK8 GTI with about 27k miles on it, and I’ve loved the car. Just came back from a 500 mile round trip with it though and I’ve been noticing some vibration in the steering wheel when braking lightly, specifically from 50-70 mph or so. Harder braking, or braking at lower speeds, don’t produce any vibrations.

After the trip, I checked out the rotors and noticed these perpendicular lines on the passenger side front rotor. All other brake rotors look about the same, I don’t think the pads are too worn either? Not sure if this is a result of some pad deposit but figured I’d ask.

I don’t usually drive hard either - most of my mileage was on the highway, and maybe one autocross event. 27k feels pretty early to be replacing pads/rotor.
