For context I wanted to run since I was a kid but I have asthma running for even 10s means I was grasping for breath and I was never good in any of the sports. Last year in October I started running. I have tried my best to be consistent but failed to do so. My pb is 5k 41 mins mix of walking and running (it's slow enough to be counted as a jog). Asthma and ligament laxity makes it just worse. I see people online who started far later than me and are achieving 5:30 pace. It's disheartening and demotivating to see that. Not that they are doing good rather I am falling behind
