Superman The Movie Still The GOAT
I watched it last night after having not seen it all the way through for maybe 5 years. Just an absolute masterpiece of a movie. Everything about this movie works. The casting is probably the best casting of any superhero film ever. Top to bottom. Christopher Reeve is the most perfect casting for any superhero ever. I don’t care what anybody says the special effects hold up. You have to look at it within the context of obviously the time it came out for certain things. But Christopher Reeve was a genius when it came to making everything look credible with the flying. The movie has romance, heart, great action, John Williams legendary amazing score that has never been topped. And this movie paved the road for everybody else to follow.
Just a 10/10 all-time classic.
