I really need some advice because I’m stuck in a difficult situation.
I applied for Bürgergeld back in July 2025, but I haven’t received any payments so far. Around 3 months ago, I got a letter saying that they would process back payments from my application start date if I submitted all the required documents.
I sent everything they asked for, completely and on time. Since then, I haven’t received any response at all.
Because of this delay, I’ve now accumulated around €2,500 in debt. On top of that, AOK has blocked my bank account due to unpaid contributions, which makes things even worse.
I live in Neuss, and I honestly don’t know what to do next.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
What steps can I take to speed this up or get help?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
