I'm currently planning to move to Seattle with a friend this october or november from Whidbey Island. We have been looking casually at apartments and were wondering if income-restricted housing is something we would be eligible for, even if we don't have proof of income from the area. I was thinking that maybe an employer could sign off on an expected income amount to submit to the rental company? Not sure how it all works.
