I have no problem in cleaning but is this okay? Just wanna know
So I traveled from Aurangabad to Delhi yesterday via indigo flight. When it was time for my meal, and as I opened my tray table I found it to be filthy. Like really bad. The one beside me (empty seat) was also quite dirty.. so I politely asked the air hostess to look into that. This female she gave me a rag and a tissue and asked me to wipe both of them clean. She said “here…You clean it”. The point is not me cleaning it, it’s the airline and their responsibility that they provide such basic facilities. I could totally be overthinking considering I was on office tour and had been on field throughout the day in scorching heat before hopping onto the flight but this interaction was really odd. The air hostess also gave this weird vibe as if I’m the one who has done something wrong.
After seeing this interaction, a senior air hostess came to apologise and told me that this particular female has some issues. She was noticing it. But still the entire thing was really weird and the conversation was awkward.
