I am mainly been using Linux for the past six -ish years ,recently there have been improvements regarding gaming on Linux as Steam has been working on Proton then there is Wine ,very helpful compatibility layers that has made Gaming on Linux possible though most Online games that require Anti Cheat are not playable for now....

My question is how many Linux user are here if any as I know this would be filled with Window users.

I have two Old laptops that I now own which I want an opinion on:-

Laptop1:-

-Hp 15-da3002nx

- Intel® Core™ i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz

-RAM: 16GB DDR4

-Graphics Processor: Intel® UHD Graphics

HDD:-1TB

Laptop2:-

-Dell inspiron-17-5749

-Intel® Core™ i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40Ghz

-Ram: 8GB DDR3

-Graphics Processor: Intel® HD Graphics 5500

-Graphics Processor(discrete): NVIDIA GeForce 840M (2GB DDR3)

HDD:- 512GB

Either I sell the Dell one to get a better one or wait for a PC (desktop) or try and upgrade em? I want to use one for work/office stuff while the other I want to use it for either editing or other kind of GPU intensive work so what shall I do?
