BLUF: calculator says 42H/HH or 40HH/J; what size should I try first in Elomi Namrah or other recommended bra?

I've lost about 20% of my body weight over the last year and a half. This was mostly lost from my lower half but it's still enough that my old bras (Elomi Namrah 40J) are too large both in band and volume. I did try on a new one to confirm what a not-degraded band is like; it would probably work on the tightest hooks but presumably as soon as the elastic aged would become too large. There is a good amount of loose fabric, particularly in the upper portion of the cup. The width seems to be fine.

My new measurements are as follows:

  • Underbust = 41.5" loose, 40.0" snug, 38.5" tight

  • Overbust = 50.5" standing, 55.0" leaning, 53.0" laying

My tissue is very soft / compressible and I did not intentionally squish it for any of the overbust measurements. The calculator recommended a 42H/HH or sister-sizing down a band for more support. My gut instinct is that I'll probably want a 40 band in most brands given my snug and tight underbust measurements. And maybe even a 38 in the Namrah with its super stretchy band? When I ended up with the 40J Namrah I had started from a calculator recommendation of a 42 or 44 band.

I know that I am both center-full and close-set. I try to find the shortest and skinniest-at-the-top gore possible to avoid pain, friction, and wires poking through their channels. Also when I try wirefree sleep bras (like the original Molke style) I fall out of the center. I have more or less even vertical fullness. I have a preference for bandless bras as they don't rub at the top of my abdomen but I can live with a band so long as it's narrow. My roots are more of a "swoosh" shape than the classic "U".

Because of the above factors (bandless plunge) I'll probably try the Elomi Namrah again although I am unsure of what size to go for first. Definitely open to other suggestions though, especially if they come in colorways that aren't beige, black, or leopard-print (why does Elomi love leopard spots so much??). The closest bra store is two-ish hours away or more if traffic is bad on the interstate so for now I'm limited to what I can buy online with returns available.

Fine hair but a lot of it; more or less straight but not perfectly so. Oily scalp with seb derm. Short pixie cut. I shower at night and air-dry before going to sleep.

Looking for a product that can be applied to dry hair (or damp hair but then slept on) which will leave it soft and smooth without looking greasy. It's short enough that it's not really possible to avoid roots when applying product. I don't particularly want a scent but I can live with a anything but roses so long as it doesn't linger too long. In an ideal world it wouldn't have ingredients that majorly promote malassezia growth but I can up my ketoconazole usage [to avoid sores] if necessary for a good product.

I've previously tried the Verb Ghost and Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible oils. Couldn't figure out a way to apply a minimum amount of product that didn't make me look more greasy than lustrous. I've thought about just trying a hairspray to control fly-aways and calling it a day except I want my hair to still be touchably soft and not feel like there's stuff in it.
