Question about Setting the Wrist

Hi all!

I'm someone who had a fingertip ball 5/6 years ago that was gifted to me, that I used for about a year before it cracked and I stopped bowling. I recently got back into it, and last night had one of my best sessions scorewise, and "hook"-wise.

I keep watching more videos and doing more research, and need some help on the wrist action. Seems like there are two things that get shared. 1 - You set your wrist at setup and never change it. 2. - You leave you wrist fairly flat, then at the moment of "weightlessness" you use the opportunity to set your wrist.

Is it basically just that both work and it depends on who you are learning from/what works for you? ;;;;;;;
