It is a GOOD thing that climbing doesn't work in the tutorial

Think about it. What is the purpose of a tutorial? To teach you how the game works and what you can expect. Manage expectations. And stuff not working properly is undeniably an absolute core mechanic of Helldivers 2.

Can you imagine the confusion of new players completing the tutorial without encountering a single bug or dumb design decision, expecting the rest of the game to be exactly like that and then playing their first mission? It would be madness.

Those poor newbies would be so confused why the tutorial is so different from the rest of the game. This just shows the real genius behind Arrowheads dev team.

Oil extract earlier -> Can't use the console
Soil Scan now -> Can't call in the drill

Your argument was "we can't focus on progression mechanics because we have to make sure to deliver quality content" and then there is this absolute bullshit that makes the game literally unplayable and has existed for over a year now.

It's just super cheap artifical difficulty , unfun and dumb. You clear an area and 5 seconds later when you are busy fighting the 3 omnipotent patrols that hone in on you there's suddenly several enemies right behind you out of thin air.

Also I'm sure that the scaling is broken again, the number of enemies we get when playing duo is absolutely ridiculous, we have 2k+ kills between us every single mission on diff 7.
