Confession Over the Phone
I don't usually post on Reddit, but I've been thinking about this for the last five days.
On Wednesday, May 6th, I got a phone call from someone I had a bit of a crush on in High School. I have known her for nearly three years at this point, and I have a very deep respect for who she is: she's kind, she's smart, and she's attractive. We haven't really communicated for a bit since we have completely separate lives (we both go to different schools). She asked to see me when I move back home, and flirted a little bit before confessing that she liked me and thought I was hot. I immediately informed her I had feelings for her once, but didn't tell her I had been thinking about her just the previous week (crazy how things work out). I agreed to see her and I'm more than a little open to starting something up if that's what we both wanted. Right now, we're trying to plan on seeing each other, but since we're both busy ATM, I'm deciding to take a bit of a break from focusing on it so I can do finals and stuff and not overwhelm her with messages. Any advice on what to do next? I plan on taking a break from contact for a few days at the very least before I reach back out to plan. I really like this woman, and I could see myself potentially being in a relationship with her. I don't want to mess up at all. I haven't had this sort of connection for a year at this point in time.
