Convertible Mustang in Canadian winter (no garage), will roof drains freeze and cause leaks?
I’m near Toronto with no garage(but private parking), so the car would stay outside year-round in snow/freezing temps + my daily car.
My main worry is the convertible drain holes freezing/clogging, causing water leaks inside. I also can’t keep a second winter beater due to space, and extra insurance would be too expensive.
Options:
- 2017 V6 Coupe: 21,500 km (~13k mi) — 25k CAD(~18,180 USD)
- 2017 V6 Convertible: 58,000 km (~36k mi) — 25.9k CAD(~18,840 USD)
- 2015 EcoBoost Convertible: 21,500 km (~13k mi) — 25k CAD(~18,180 USD)
Is the convertible still worth it, or should I stick with a coupe for Canadian winters?
