Cant find my Amazkn Prime subscription in my account
Hey, I have a problem with Amazon Prime.
Three years ago, I signed up for a Prime subscription on the Spanish Amazon site using my credit card (I’m from Germany; at the time, I was at home in Germany using the internet, and if I remember correctly, I wanted to use it to learn Spanish).
It ran for quite a while without me paying much attention to it, until I tried to cancel the subscription about six months ago.
Here’s the problem:
The subscription doesn’t show up on any of my Amazon accounts, neither the German one nor the Spanish one. I’ve already spent over an hour on the phone three times with both Spanish and German customer service, and no one can find the subscription in any of the accounts. I have the transaction records from my bank statement right here in front of me, and I’ve already emailed them. Every time, I was assured that I would receive a response within the next two days, which never happened. They didn’t give me an email address or any other way to contact them.
I’m considering just blocking the debits, but someone on an Amazon forum advised against it.
What else can I do?
Has anyone else experienced this before?
