5 things I wish every car buyer knew before sitting in Finance Office

  1. Your credit score on Credit Karma is not what we pull. Auto lenders use a specific FICO Auto Score. The difference can put you in a completely different rate tier.
  2. The monthly payment question — "what payment are you comfortable with?" — is the most expensive question in the building. Never answer it.
