are mental health professionals required to report past abuse from when i was under 18?

nsfw cuz this might be triggering to some.

lots of emotional and verbal abuse (calling me very degrading names repeatedly over a long period of time, threats), some instances of physical abuse (hand around my neck js to scare me, pinching till i bruise, slaps), also cracking inappropriate jokes/ making comments about my body and voyeurism. unfortunately i only have evidence of the few instances of physical, and maybe a video or two of the emotional/ verbal abuse. also a shit ton of journal entries with timestamps and what happened i guess

happened years ago, they were around the age of 18 or 19 at the time, i can’t remember anymore from when i was younger. i am now past 18 and looking to seek professional help, but i don’t want to have to deal with authorities. family would not acknowledge or accept that things were that bad for me, i really just want the help and not have to deal with any police/ court-related things stuff. they really have changed and i have not been abused for the past few years.
