I’m turning 21 soon, and for my birthday my friends have been begging to take me to a couple gay clubs.
I don’t really have an issue with it, I’m not looking to hookup with people during this lol(?), not sure if that actually happens a lot at gay clubs.
Regardless, the girls I’m going with I’m not out to, since I’m stealth. But they let me know that often times guys will try and yk hookup with you there or hangout with you, is it worth it to wear some sort of subtle accessory to help? Maybe a small bracelet with the subtle colors, would that even be enough for gay men to pick up on? I don’t want to out myself to my friends but if a guy wants to come up to me I figure it would be good to let them know, especially since I’m pretty ‘passing’ in many cases.
Or should I just let it go and if it goes anywhere it goes anywhere and I can tell them? Or is that possibly too risky, the clubs were going to see very queer+ friendly so, but I never try and assume things about people. I’ve also never been to a club in general before either as most are strictly 21+, so I’m not sure what to prepare myself for.
