I F(25) went on a date with an M(25) who i found on dating app. He was super sweet and attentive, by the end of the date we were discussing the sifferent spoon options the coffe place had. Overall such a nice and attentive guy with broad interests and many talents.
5 dates went by and there was no sign of an actual ROMANTIC direction of this relationship. He was writing me big paragraphs about his interests and telling me he "would love to see me" etc but there was merely a hug at the end of a date....
now on 6th date it was an especially nice may day, sunny and pleasant. we went for ice cream and picnic. I was practially throwing myslef at him, even comparing hand sizes....and NOTHING
no kiss whatsoever
then i decided to take matters into my own hands and kiss him and he did kiss me back but then there was no change of conversation even....i continued listening about tennis and he was a little iggly after the kiss itself tho didnt say why

I see that he sometimes is out of breath when he is fixating on my face and how he remembers A LOT of little things i casually mention
but i never heard an actual appearance compliment nor romantic move like...by 6th date I sort of realized what blue balls were
could you please help a girl out and explain from your prospective?
