Email states they’re looking for a full-time teacher

But later revealed it’s a long term sub position in the interview. Bruh. I know subs don’t come out of their budget. They want someone to do a full-time work without the full-time pay. Most subs who become a sub won’t do that. These schools are notorious for stringing people along to keep them as forever subs rather than hiring full-time to save money.

Been traveling to Tokyo for the past 10 years and the vibe this year is definitely off

I also visited last summer and felt fine. I get Japanese people are not that fond of tourists, especially in Tokyo. Locals just seem more sporadic and not following rules especially in the subway. They seem to try to race(?) the people in front of them even though they’re not blocking them at all or quite far away. A few instances they will block your path unless u lock eyes on them. It becomes a pushing game. I’m from nyc so I get how crowds are but it’s worse than TSQ. Staff are rude and can’t be bothered. What has changed after a year?

I’m not even saying all of Japan is like that because I visited Sapporo and Fukushima prior to Tokyo where people are chill.
