AIO: My daughter with her grandpa.
I need opinions and thoughts please. I think because of the SA I went through as a child, it makes me assume the worst and I have a hard time with intuition with this kind of stuff because I’m always anxious about it.
My two year old daughter loves my father in law (her grandpa). She is always all over him and plays with him a lot. Well today, she was hanging out next to him while the whole family was having a conversation. We all decided to disperse and play different games. As we were dispersing, my father in law told my daughter “do you want to take a nap? Come on let’s take a nap.” they went into the grandchildren’s room. Well, it didn’t sit right with me. I thought it was weird. I went in the room five minutes after and saw that they were cuddling under the covers while watching a movie on his phone. The thing is, I swear I saw some movement under the sheets where I think his man area would be. I don’t know if he was itching himself, or what but that made me feel very uncomfortable. So I stayed in the room and chatted and then he brought his hands up above the covers. The first few thoughts I had were scary and now I’m not sure if I can trust my in law around my child.
Am I overreacting?
