RN to BSN vs RN to MSN programs...how to choose?
Hey y'all!
I graduated last fall with my ADN and am looking into BSN or MSN programs. I've applied to BSN programs but my issue is that I have another bachelor's degree in another area so financially I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. Plus, I may need to take out loans to supplement my employer's tuition reimbursement and I may have maxed out loans for an undergraduate degree. I've looked at both 100% online programs with not so great reputations as well as well established schools in my community. I'm leaning towards community based schools with an online presence.
Also, I think about my former clinical instructor who said it isn't worth it to get an RN-BSN degree...just go for the MSN....so I dunno..
Just looking for some helpful advice....if you're in a program...which did you choose?...how did you choose that program?.
Any advice is appreciated...Thanks!
