accident?

hi!! i was rehired not that long ago, and the woman who makes sushi said that she is going to treat me today and made me some sushi. i had assumed this meant she was going to pay for it, but when i got it there was no sticker.

i do NOT want to get framed for stealing, especially if it was a misunderstanding. do i grab the same roll with a tag on it and have the cashier scan it to cover my own ass?

i worked at publix for two years, and have been gone for a year. i went in and got my job back two days ago, but i am just wondering about how long it will take to get a call to come in. anyone have an experience to share?
