Fiber Arts Club Update

A couple of weeks ago, I posted here about potentially starting a local fiber arts group (crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing, cross-stitch, needlepoint, etc.).

Well, we actually got a little something going! A few of us met up recently, and it was a lot of fun. We got to share our projects and learn about different hobbies. Some of which I didn't even know existed.

I wanted to make another post to see if anyone else might be interested in joining. Since my last post, we've started a Discord Server and a Facebook group. We don't have an "official next meetup planned just yet, but we'd love to keep growing the community and just have a space to share projects.

If you're a local fiber artist or know of anybody else that would be interested feel free to join. We'd love to have you! 🧶

fiber arts club?

Hi everyone!
I’m considering starting a fiber arts club and wanted to see if there’s any interest.
It could be anyone who enjoys crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross-stitch, or other fiber arts.
No lessons, no pressure, and no experience requirements. Just bring whatever project you’re working on and hang out.
I’d also love to do an optional charity project a few times a year (hats, blankets, etc.), but the main focus would be socializing and crafting.
Would anyone on the Treasure Coast be interested in something like this? If so:
What fiber arts do you do?
What days/times work best for you?
Would you prefer a library, a place like Panera or Starbucks, or another location?

Just brainstorming and thought I would post and see what people thought. I’ve never done this before, so I thought I would shoot my shot here :)

UPDATE: Wow! I got a lot more responses than I thought! If anyone else is interested, I will send you a PM with the Discord server link and see what we can do!
