Long explanation but please bare with me as I am desperate to fix my issue!!
ETA- 2006 Honda Odyssey that I’m just trying to drive until the wheels fall off … or the door at this point, whatever comes first

I can not get the driver side sliding door to open! It has been locked in a semi open position for months now. The front part of the door is latched on the striker, back part of door is slightly open only a couple of inches but will kill battery if I leave the “power” on to sliding doors. I think the “teeth” are locked into the striker plate and it will no longer release, we’ve tried everything! Taken the door panel off hoping to manually release the striker if that’s even the issue? At this point I just want to be able to open it all the way to replace cable, rollers whatever is wrong or close it all the way so I can turn power switch back on to be able to use the other sliding door properly.

More info:
-switch on dash turned off so no “power” to doors
-“sliding door” light is lit up on dash
-Passenger sliding door is being used manually
-cable has been cut on driver sliding door which I was hoping would resolve my issue
-ETA: even when power switch is on nothing happens for my problem door, I push the open/close button and nothing happens

Here’s a photo of the panel removed from problem door if anyone has any ideas.. I feel like we’ve tried everything and I’m desperate with so many small kids being loaded in and out of the vehicle.
