For those that take measurements on-site, you know how annoying it is. You pull out your notes app or some paper to jot things down, then later transfer everything into a spreadsheet just to put together a quote.

When you have many clients it gets difficult keeping track of everything over time, especially repeat residential customers.

So I made ProPainterTools to help my friend with the process. It organizes clients and projects, lets you input measurements as you take them, and does the calculations for you. Knocked his quoting time down significantly. You can even generate a PDF quote. If you don't take measurements yourself it's still useful for tracking paints used or building your own estimates.

No credit card. Not even an email — just a username and password.

The existing stuff costs a lot and for the solo painter or very small team I don't think one needs all that complexity and expensive stuff. This of course wouldn't be suited for large scale commercial painters, its more those targeting residential mainly.

Thought a few of you might find it useful. (the link is just https://propaintertools.com/ hopefully I am allowed to share otherwise I will remove it)
