My budget is pretty small, $3k max as I am saving plenty for proper safety gear. I want something ideally highway capable but I know that isn’t always realistic at the price point combined with my size. I’m 5’5”, 200lbs and have no proper experience. Arms length is pretty short like you’d expect for my height
I’ve looked at the Honda Rebel 300/500 and I love the look and what I’ve read, just not confident about the speed capabilities. I’ve also seen some talk about the V stars and such as well.
I will be a daily rider, using it for commute. I have plenty of country backroads to practice on as well. Ultimately I’ll be moving about 9 hours away in the Fall so I’d like something that I can drive that way over a two day period, avoiding highways likely.
I just need something reliable, capable, and comfortable for my size. Anyone got any advice? I’ve been hunting on Marketplace like crazy and there’s plenty of options under and at my price point I’m just feeling overwhelmed with the decisions.
