Anyone here tried oral meds for acne while on Yaz? 💊
Hello everyone! I have PCOS and currently taking Yaz pills. Before taking it, oiliness, hormonal acne and blackheads talaga yung main problem ko. Since starting Yaz, controlled naman na yung acne ko and mostly occasional pimples na lang, pero persistent pa rin yung blackheads.
I’ve been thinking of consulting a derma sana and asking about isotret or other oral meds because feeling ko yung pills lang talaga yung nagccontrol ng acne ko right now. There was a month before na I stopped taking the pills and bumalik talaga yung acne ko, so medyo ayoko sana maging dependent lang on birth control for my skin.
I’m just not sure if possible ba maprescribe-an ng oral meds even if medyo clear naman skin ko currently and hindi severe yung acne.
Has anyone here experienced something similar? Especially those with PCOS na “controlled” yung acne because of pills? Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences. Thank you! 🙏🏻
