Building a 5.2l magnum any specific advice for things I should get for it

Working on building my 96 jeep grand Cherokee with the 5.2 magnum and having problems with the oil pressure sensor

I ordered a new sensor and no matter what I do the gauge just reads 0 I know the gauge works I'm probably just gonna end up ordering a new one and see if this one is just dead out of the box but I was wondering about anything to try before that
