Is Nintendo's Parental Control absolute crap?
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: ok so I'm a gamer and a father. I have a 4 years old daughter and I like to play with her but also I would like to let her go sometimes alone, but I don't want her to be able to download new games, open certain games or make purchases in the Nintendo Store. So I decide to set up the parental controls. In my mind it's going to ask me wich accounts are adult accounts that require no supervision (mine and her mother) and which one is a kid's account so I can set a pin code to use the adults accounts and limit the programs the kid's account can use.
But then Nintendo said "f**** no haha" and sets up the parental controls for the whole console and not by accounts. Also to set up which programs can she use she has to open them first since the only appear on the list once the programs are used because to set all this up you have to use an app in your phone.
Am I doing it wrong or is it just a crap feature?
