Went to a new seamstress for this dress, and when I brought it home and tried it on I realized the 2nd layer is longer than the chiffon layer in certain parts. Additionally, it seems to wave in a “w” in a way that was unexpected to me. Is this normal? Should I bring the dress back to the seamstress and ask for a discount/refund?

I’m already a bit regretful of how short I went with the hemming, so don’t really want to shorten it more. Hoping someone can give me some advice, or at least make me feel better about my $180 spent on this alteration 🥴
