OSE; Polymorph Others on Yourself?

Hey! I'm playing Old-School Essentials as a Magic User (solo game for now-- going to DM in a few weeks), and saw the limits on Polymorph Others. It grants all of the special abilities (albeit keeping the target's current HD). The obvious downside is that it's permanent, and that the target takes on the mindset of that creature (which means really powerful creatures are out of the window, if you don't want to wipe out you and your whole party).

I don't see any rule stating you can't use the spell on yourself, unless I am missing something. The range is 60', and you count as a willing subject, right?

I really feel this would be an exciting high-risk, high-reward spell to use as a Magic-User. Abusing this would obviously lead to TPKs or worse, but sparse use could be fun.

What do you guys think? Can you cast Polymorph Others on yourself? Or is Polymorph Self the only spell that works this way?

Edit: I know you can use Polymorph Self on yourself; but nothing in the description of Polymorph Others says you cannot cast it on yourself (as a target within 60').
