Hey everyone! I’m Joe, a 41YO sterile guy who relocated to the Southeast by way of Alaska 6 years ago. No adjustment needed lol. Looking for something serious and long-term with someone else who also embraces the childfree lifestyle.

About me: As noted above, I’m not from the region; originally from the Midwest, lived on the West Coast and in the DMV (DC metro area) a couple years. I would like to relocate to a cooler, drier environment with a more hilly and challenging topography, so please note I’m not looking to remain here long term if it’s within my control. I work in public land management and love the work, very passionate about public lands. I’m a very friendly, independent, outgoing person, normally very extroverted but can be ambiverted depending on the occasion and setting.

Hobbies: I love traveling and exploring, hiking, dining out with friends, writing, and reading. If it’s even somewhat decent weather on the weekend, you’ll find me hitting the trails. When it comes to writing, I do creative fiction. Love a good book when flying or when it’s a quiet week at the office. Fave travel spots include Denver, Seattle, and generally anywhere near the ocean.

What I’m looking for: Someone who is also set in their career, independent, and it would help if you’re outgoing as well. I’m not the most compatible person with someone who is quiet and soft spoken. It would help greatly if you’re within a few hours drive. A big plus if you live down on the Alabama coast/Pensacola area, I’m very familiar with that area. And as I noted, it would greatly help if you’re open to relocating further north if things get serious. And if we click in communicating, let’s plan to meet up sooner than later, not looking for a pen pal.
