Hey guys,

I was in the middle of an $60 batch when my app crashed. I wasn’t about to cancel, and found I could message my customers from the Profile Tab > Messages. I was able to get their addresses from them.

Just make sure you take proof of delivery if you’re doing this. (Take a photo of the items delivered and their address).

Then call Instacart and let them know to mark the deliveries as completed. Good luck.

Just a word of caution. Most people know about the barcode mixup ban thing that can happen.

Well after checking out earlier I noticed on my batch of 3, my last 2 receipts had the same exact membership ID/barcode number. I was like I must of made a mistake….

I got banned once before years ago, I wasn’t taking any chances. I had the managers void out Customer B and Customer C. They then rescan the barcode, I pay for Customer B… same barcode again. I’m like okay, that means C didn’t get charged.

We scan the barcode for Customer C, repay for the items… receipt prints. Same membership number as Customer B again…

Not sure why the heck that happened. So called customer service and they told me not to worry about it, just complete the delivery. But that’s concerning.

I’ll let ya’ll know if anything comes of it. I preemptively emailed Trust and Safety too.

Considering the weird barcode outage that happened 2 weeks ago, I wouldn’t be surprised if some how an incident like this is connected.
