Honestly I do not want a repeat of when it dropped on surefun. Felt like that release wasn’t the greatest I kept having to guess when it would drop. Refreshed so much that I still missed when it dropped and it was sold out 🥹 I have a proxy that will sell for double 😭 BUT before I accept I want to try to get it for retail 😩
If you remember my post I purchased her through Mecari Japan. I know there were some skeptical people due to the new regulations for toys overseas but I personally had no issues. I ordered her on June 27th for about $127 but with duties, taxes and shipping she came out to $175 (this is all through Mecari Japan so nothing additional) she arrived to me on July 14th extremely well packaged do you see that box? 😩
I am in the US so she took 2 weeks and 3 days not too bad a little longer than I’m used to. But nonetheless super happy 😊 not sure if I’ll take her out the box as I am currently in the process of working on a display but we shall see. I’m proof that Mecari Japan is an option to go if you’re not willing to pay an astronomical amount for these limited editions. Side note: if you still haven’t found her and are willing to pay around $250 Jane toys has her online so worth a shot 🤷🏾♀️☺️

First time using Mecari Japan and I was able to get the Nommi Spring Strawberry 🍓 for a really decent price that included shipping, taxes & duties (I’m in the US btw). My usual proxy had only one and wanted to sell her to me for $460, and I just couldn’t believe it nor did I want to take the bullet…. Fortunately I did not give in so easily and was able to get her for a total of $176 🤭🥹🥳 The lesson here is keep searching and do not pay an insane price unless you want to
