Can I just say how grateful I am for this show and soon movie? But mostly for so many of you here on this platform and all over social media.
All the Easter eggs we found, talked about, argued about and on and on. It has brought me so much joy over the past years. And you all made it so much easier to make it through the years between seasons 2 and 3 when our close personal friend Conrad Fisher lost it all.

I started this show by accident, about a week after it got released back in June of 2022. I had never heard anything about the books or that a show was being made so when I saw the title on prime video’s page I was like “why the f*** would you call a show that?” and I was prepared to get rage-baited. Little did I know that this show would end up being a comfort space of mine for four years now.

I could talk hours about how this show changed my perception on shows and movies so much.
While Conrad’s entire arch is my absolute favorite, I love most story lines genuinely. Belly finding herself over the years, the bond between Laurel and Susannah, even the brothers talking it out at the end. (Although that should have been discussed more thoughtfully, I’m glad that we got to see at least something.)

And to top it all off, we are getting Belly and Conrad in a movie together. How amazing is that? Sure, they could have put the final book scene in the show, but now we are getting so much more. I’m not going to spoil any leaks or so, but I’m so excited from seeing all the stuff we have seen so far.

I hope that the cast is able to have a beautiful wrap and cherish that time of their lives in the future. (I’m pretty sure that Lola and Chris are the only ones of the main cast still filming so I hope they all had a nice ensemble scene to wrap before these two kept on filming on their own)

So, thank you Lola and Chris, for giving us the couple of a generation (no, seriously. Have you seen the views that all the videos got? They ARE the royal couple) Thanks to the cast and production and of course, thank you Jenny Han for making sure that the books were done justice.

I’m looking forward to seeing and reading all the interviews and photoshoots that will come next year and I can’t wait to see Belly and Conrad together at last.

Again, thanks to all of you guys for continuing to share your thoughts and opinions. Thanks to all the new people that just recently started the show that give us oldies the chance to experience it for the first time again in some way.

New footage of Chris filming a scene showed that they made his shirt wet. And his clothes look like the outfit he wore on the yacht, just without the jacket and his shirt not tucked in anymore.

We saw stand ins rehearsing a little brawl where (probably) Jere/his stand in showed the other one (most definitely Conrad) something that could be a ring. They fight and maybe the ring falls off the yacht into the water. Conrad tries finding it and that’s why he’s wet.
That screams romcom vibes if you ask me.

The day after is the Fourth of July, Belly and Jere are in different clothes, Conrad still in his white now unbuttoned shirt, tie is missing. They have a conversation next to the Range Rover and Conrad and Belly hug or in a different take kiss. She must’ve told him something that makes him happy, so could it be that she tells him that they found the ring, or she doesn’t care and just wants to marry him anyway?

They then walk around town, Belly in red flats, red bag, Conrad in his purple shirt and get her a new ring or they actually found it. (This must be before July 4 or the day of. We saw pictures of a scheduled firework and different tournaments)

Just a thought, what do you guys think?

ETA: The streets they filmed on were wet as well, so it could have been raining as well. I mean, a kiss scene in the rain would be peak romcom material and we know Jenny loves stuff like that

What do you guys think are the odds that this scene is going to be in the movie? It had one of the most iconic quotes in it. "So no, he didn't give me flowers or candy. He gave me the moon and the stars. Infinity." I loved this scene so much in the book and was so sad when we didn't get it in the show. Especially because we know that they filmed this scene back in 2024.

It's almost more iconic than Conrad belly flopping Belly into the ocean and saying "I go wherever you go."

I want that scene so bad because it showed a beautiful moment between Belly and Conrad and it could work in the movie as a way to show new viewers that didn't watch the show what this two lovebirds where like as teens.

But then I think the team might see it as "unimportant" for the plot of the movie? >!It doesn't necessarily add anything to the plot of them being in their mid/late twenties and planning their wedding/actually getting married. !<

So, what are your thoughts? Do you want that scene in the movie? Is it worth "sacrificing" 2-4 minutes of screen time for a moment they had around a decade ago instead of showing their current/future life together?

I just hope the movie is like 2 hours long so that they don't have to cut scenes that we would love to see.
