hii! i’m sid, 21f, est timezone !! i’ve been really wanting to find some new long term rp partners lately, so i thought i’d make a little post and see if anyone clicks with my vibe :)

i’m VERY romance and character dynamic focused when it comes to writing. i love emotional tension, messy relationships, yearning, angst, intimacy, drama, all the fun painful stuff 😭

genre wise, i’m pretty flexible, but i especially love:
♡ slice of life
♡ modern settings
♡ grounded historical/medieval-inspired settings
♡ high society/old money dynamics
♡ emotionally messy drama

honestly one of my favorite things is taking something seemingly mundane and turning it into something emotional: family dinners with underlying tension, rich people with dysfunctional relationships, married couples arguing in the kitchen at 2am, soft moments right after horrible fights, characters trying SO hard not to fall in love and failing miserably… i need it all thank you very much

a lot of my inspiration comes from korean dramas and films because i love the way they build tension and complicated relationships. i really enjoy stories that feel emotional without needing huge fantasy worlds or constant action scenes.

some tropes i’ll probably eat up every single time:
enemies to lovers, childhood friends, exes reconnecting, arranged marriages/relationships, class differences, mutual pining, jealousy, emotionally unavailable characters, possessiveness type dynamics 😭

i write on discord and i’d say i’m advanced literate, but i’m not super strict about reply length. i care way more about writing feeling natural and fitting the scene than forcing huge replies full of fluff just to hit a word count. sometimes scenes need multiple paragraphs, sometimes shorter replies work better.

reply wise, i usually answer at least once a day unless life gets hectic !! i do have obligations outside of writing, so occasionally replies might take longer, but i always try to communicate. also genuinely i do not mind reminders!

i’m also very visual when it comes to roleplays and character chemistry, so i do use face claims/references pretty often !! i usually lean toward real life refs, but i’m totally okay with art or animated refs too depending on what people are comfortable with.

the only things i’m personally not very interested in are heavy fantasy or action plots mostly because those just aren’t really my strength as a writer.

more than anything though, i just really love collaborative plotting and brainstorming. i want writing to feel fun and comfortable for both people involved, and i LOVE getting excited over characters/details together 😭

hi guys! im just posting here because id like some new partners :) im 21F and live in est! ive been writing for about 8 years now, and id like to get back into this hobby since life kept me back for some time. i’d like to write anything romance, and i love angst and drama too! i love enemies to lovers, slow burn, slice of life (this mainly) so let’s brainstorm! pls be 18+ too and have discord :) here are some ideas! we don’t have to use these but they’re just suggestions to start off brainstorming:

1. ⁠Princess & the Rival Brothers

Plot: Character A, a princess from a powerful kingdom, was once romantically involved with Character B, the younger prince known for his charm and reputation as a heartbreaker. Their secret relationship ends in heartbreak when Character B betrays her trust.

Shortly after, Character A is summoned by the king, who reveals that she is to be wed to Character C, the elder brother and heir to the throne. Unlike his brother, Character C is disciplined, cold, and burdened by duty — but also fiercely protective of the kingdom.

As the king’s health declines, both brothers find themselves vying for the throne — and for Character A. The situation becomes a battlefield of loyalty, power, and passion, as Character A must decide where her heart and her duty lie. The royal court is full of manipulation, whispers of rebellion, and a long-buried secret that could change the line of succession forever.

2. Career-Oriented Woman & Her Ex’s Baby

Plot: Character A, a fiercely ambitious woman focused on her rising career, discovers she’s pregnant — and the father is Character B, her on-again, off-again ex. Their history is messy: equal parts intense chemistry and deep-rooted conflict.

The pregnancy throws both into unfamiliar territory. Character A must confront her fear of motherhood interfering with her independence and success, while Character B struggles with stepping up after years of emotional unavailability. Their dynamic is further tested by lingering attraction, resentment, and outside pressures — including friends, family, and work commitments.

3. Young, Wealthy Lawyer & the World of High Society

Plot: Character A is a young, brilliant lawyer who just made partner at one of the city’s most elite firms. With wealth, power, and connections pouring in, Character A is swept into the glittering but brutal world of high society.

— for this plot we can explore high society and elite culture rather than focus on just the lawyer!
