Gyros not Gyroing?

I was just testing my new ship and when it is stationary the vertical thrusters don't act like the ship is too heavy and the gyros won't allow me to roll but as soon as I move forward both go back to working normally, is this due to keen changing things in the recent economy update or is it just a glitch?

Also I play un-modded so I know it isn't that

Resolution: I have fixed the "issues" by doubling the number of gyros and hiding some extra thrusters internally, thank you to those who helped.

Eurotas Research ship

I've recently been playing a relatively unknown game from a small indie company and I built the ship from it, and I have a much greater respect for people that build small grids with interiors because I didn't do a spectacular job on this one mainly due to limited visuals of the interior from the source but it works well enough. This ship weighs about 125,000kg and has a PCU just below 10k.

So if you ever have to go check on a moon based manufacturing base, this is the ship for you; it has weapons lockers, a first aid cabinet, 2 prototech jump drives as well as it's pressurized Interior.

The last 2 pictures were what I was trying to go off of but due to space engineers limitations I couldn't get it quite right and also trying to get the scaling right on this was difficult, I could've made it a bit bigger so I could do the cockpit better but by the time I got to it I just said screw it.
